Motivated Investigator Exposes the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in “Get Rich Quick” and “Offshore Retirement” Scams!
The internet is full of dishonest and misleading websites that use people’s fears, lack of knowledge, and weaknesses to make a quick buck. But it’s also an invaluable resource for information, good advice, and self research. One of the worst markets of rip-off artists are the “Get Rich Quick”, “Retire in Comfort”, “Retire Offshore” websites. It’s full of frauds, liars, and outright con men who care nothing about helping you, and only about lining their pockets with your hard earned money. Read on to discover how you can save your precious cash from the hands of these online scammers!
Who Am I, And Why Should You Listen To Me?
My Story Revealed…
Dear Friends,
You’ve heard my story before. I’m a guy who has worked hard for a lot of years to build a nest egg, and now I want to reap the rewards. I’m relatively young to retire, but I want to do it anyways. I want to leave the rat race, find a nice beach in a quiet, laid back country, explore the world, live in harmony with an interesting new culture, learn an new language. And I want to do all that but have something to do as a business that I like to do, can make me enough money that I can support this lifestyle, and do from anywhere in the world. Oh, and I DON’T want to pay a hefty tax bill for the rest of my life!
In essence, I want to be the master of my own destiny. So, I turned to the internet as a way to research both international retirement as well as business opportunities that I could run from anywhere.
I have been on the internet for years, and was well aware that the vast majority of sites are much more about making their owners money than they are about informing you about specific topics. Seriously…how many times have you found a site you thought was going to give you helpful information and advice, only to read page after page of hype, and at the bottom find a link that takes you to an order form for a $19.99 (plus shipping and handling) book that promises to give you the REAL scoop. First, you realize that the previous 10 pages didn’t really tell you a thing, and if you DO order the book, when you get it home and open it up it is just as useless!
I got sick and tired of wasting my time, but I could never find a better way to weed through the snake-oil salesmen, scam artists, and plain liars to find the few sites that were worth reading. I started to compile a list of sites that I could return to and expect to get valuable advice, and real information, for FREE!. At a very minimum, if I had to subscribe and pay a small fee I didn’t want to then find that I had to pay more and more and more before getting what I was really looking for.
I decided that there were probably lots of people out there looking for the same kind of sites, and finding the same mess I was. Since I was actually compiling my own list of useful sites for my own future retirement, I figured I could save you a LOT of wasted time by pointing you to the legit sites, and in turn you might provide me with any site you found on your own that you found useful. What a deal!
Here’s what I’ve found out:
The Shocking Results Of My Review of Online Money Making and International Retirement Advice Websites
First, I run each site through an evaluation process as follows:
- Is it easy to navigate?
- Does it provide information, links, resources?
- Does it provide them for free, or at least a nominal cost?
- Once you pay a subscription fee, do you get valuable advice afterwards for free?
- How much do they push products that are unrelated to their topic?
- Do they have decent customer service?
- Do you get you money’s worth?
- Most of all, is the information and advice they provide accurate????
Only a few have passed this test! Shouldn’t they ALL????? It’s really not a big test, you know. But only a few sites meet these minimal requirements. The rest are scams of varying degrees….a way to entice you to their site and then milk you for your cash by dangling a carrot in front of you…a carrot that you never seem to be able to reach no matter how much you spend!
Most of the online “offshore retirement” and “money making” advice sites I have researched are not even worth the effort of checking out.
And what’s worse:
Most of these sites are ranked so low in my evaluation criteria they received my lowest qualification (SCAM - Absolutely NOT Recommended). Let me give you a bit of an idea of what the scam sites had in common:
- outdated, bad, or fake information
- lots of tease, but no real, hard, verifiable information
- non-working download links
- reprinted or re-used material from other sources
- amateurish product creation (spelling errors, etc.)
- Little to no proof the system works
- Fake testimonials
- no refunds
- no support
I’m just scratching the surface here! I could go on forever exposing how these scam artists are making money from people looking for an easy retirement.
But I must have to let you in on a secret…
